Third Study Cycle
PhD studies (III. cycle studies) of Information and Communication Technologies are the first PhD studies under Bologna Process in Republic of Srpska and one of the first of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized since 2009. Study completion grants a PhD degree in electrical engineering. Along with professors from the University of Banja Luka, other professors from renown European universities have participated in realization of these studies: Paderborn University (Germany), Mälardalen University (Sweden), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Universities of Belgrade and Novi Sad (Serbia). Dual PhD studies with Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) has been organized for selected students. There is also a possibility of study visits for PhD students to prestigious universities around the world, through mobility programs.
